Schedule: 9:00 am – Poker Run begins
Noon to 2:00 pm – BBQ at Sunriver Airport
2 pm – Prizes and Awards
Poker Run: The poker run is open to all pilots and passengers. Participants draw one card at each of the four airports (Madras, Prineville, Redmond and Bend) and the 5 th card upon arrival in Sunriver. Additional hands are permitted at a cost of $10 per hand. All proceeds from the poker run will go to the Central Oregon 99s scholarship fund.
Route: Participants may fly to each airport in any order and plan to arrive at S21 no later than 1:00 pm. The BBQ and awards ceremony will conclude the event at the Sunriver airport.
Spot Landing Contest: Registration for the Poke Run includes entry to the Spot Landing Contest for your arrival at S21. Closest spot to the touch down line, without landing short, WINS!
Entry Forms and Fees: Entry forms must be received by July 10
Each entry must include a check for entry fees as follows:
$20 for pilot and first hand
$10 for each additional hand for pilots or passengers.
Play as many hands as you like.
$10 per person for lunch
Prizes: First, Second and Third place prizes will be awarded to best poker hands
Closest spot landing prize will be awarded Various other prizes will be awarded
(In the event of multiple winners, each winner will cut a deck of cards and HIGH card wins.)
FAR Compliance: All participants must be in compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
